four years on a partner's desk. the scripts i've read, the notes i've given, the lists i've built of exactly who to send a thing to and in what order, all of it belongs to other people and stays theirs until it comes out. if it comes out. i can tell you it went to a very good buyer and that's about it.
i've read the pilot before it had a title. i've been on the call where the writer worked out what the second half was about. i've watched a script i loved die in a room, and the difference between that one and the one that sold wasn't always quality, it was who was sitting there and whether anyone could say what the show was in one sentence.
